Paper Reliefs

Paper reliefs do not belong to classic relief methodologies such as bas-relief, high relief or stucco: their closest acquaintances are the inventors of the first kinds of writing techniques, who, by using cuneiform sticks, impressed signs on soft lumps of clay.
The making of paper reliefs borrows from this ancient method: the sheet of paper as a classical support, and pressure as a printing technique.
