Sculpture in the public space has a cultural and social function, it improves places and urban areas aesthetically, it favours relationships and creates social occasions, entertainment and debate between people, eventually improving the quality of life. The relationship between sculpture and location, when it is not only celebratory, can be harmonic and inclusive, rupturing or irreverent, a provocative action aimed to stir up the feelings in the hearts and minds.
